David & Sheila took flight with The Hummingbird Coffee in September, 2022 - originally launched as a mobile coffee cart serving the North Texas area. It originated as an idea that Sheila shared with her mom while she was battling an illness in the hospital. Liza loved the idea and was looking forward to seeing it come to life. Unfortunately, she didn't get to witness any part of it. After her passing, David & Sheila decided to move forward with the concept in her honor, naming it after her favorite bird - The Hummingbird.

After two and half years of serving up lattes at the most memorable events across the metroplex, they decided to retire the coffee cart in 2025 to focus on the coffee itself. Being avid coffee snobs themselves, it brings them great joy to provide specialty coffee in the local area and beyond! And in case you're wondering, their favorite go to coffee is the Mexico Chiapas. It's the best seller!
